• Watermark: Prints a watermark such as “IMPORTANT” or “CONFIDENTIAL” onto your printouts.
• N-up/N-up border: Multiple pages of data can be printed on a single sheet of paper – and can be bordered in black
• Collation: Prints multiple pages in logical sequence Image adjustment: Lightens or darkens a copy that is being made - especially useful if original is very dark
• Scan Functions File Format: The ARM201 supports two commonly used file formats for scanned data (TIFF and PDF) Resolution: Select the optimum scan resolution for the original.
• Scan Destination: Sends and forwards scanned images to destinations connected on the network (or local storage) by using: Send to Desktop/ Send to Email/ Send to FTP Send to Desktop: Forwards scanned files directly to a PC without routing through a server. These files automatically appear on your desktop as thumbnails. Send to Email: Sends scanned files as an attachment to any email address on the Internet. Send to FTP: Sends scanned files for storage on FTP server. If you configure the Scan to FTP Server settings, the MFP automatically sends an email to destinations that are connected to the data. The message contains links to the scanned files, so receivers can view the file with a single click.
• Fax Functions (optional): Name Description 2-Sided Reception Prints an incoming fax on both sides of the paper Direct Transmission: After the connection is established and the fax signal from the other machine is confirmed, scanning begins without using memory.
• Long Original Transmission: Scans long originals (Max.500 mm in length) by feeding them into optional RSPF. Memory Transmission: Once a document is scanned, it is stored in memory.
• Polling: Polling is the process that verifies the readiness of another fax machine to send and receive information. To do so, information must already be stored on that machine in “polling memory.” This process can also be performed in reverse by scanning a document to polling memory on your fax machine as the information for the recipient fax machine.
• Quick On-line Transmission: Sends a multiple-page document as soon as the first page is scanned into memory. Recall Mode: If the recipient is busy, it tries to resend the document after a certain period of time. Timer: Specifies the time of transmission or polling operation up to two weeks in advance. Transaction Report: Prints out a transaction report automatically so the user can confirm the transaction results.
• Scanner / Fax Functions 2-Sided Original Sending: Scans 2-sided originals efficiently using optional RSPF. Ad-hoc Address: The user can input ad-hoc addresses as needed. Broadcasting: Sends a document to multiple destinations with one-touch operation.
• Exposure: Adjusts the image density for the original. (Auto mode and 5 manual modes) One-Touch Address: Registers commonly used addresses, which can be easily selected on the LCD control panel.
• Quick Key: Calls up any registered address by entering the three-digit number the user registered at the time of the address registration. The number is entered using numeric keys.
